# Password

Display a branded password page that lets customers enter the storefront password before the store launches.

## How to access

1. **Go to** Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes.
2. **Click** Customize on your active theme.
3. Open the **Password** template and select **Password**.

## Section Settings

| Setting              | Description                                                |
| -------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Layout**           |                                                            |
| Expand to full width | Extends the section to the full browser width.             |
| Color scheme         | Sets the background and text colors.                       |
| **Content**          |                                                            |
| Heading              | Sets the page heading.                                     |
| Show social links    | Shows or hides the social media links.                     |
| Social icon style    | Sets the social icon style. Choose from Classic or Modern. |
| Show newsletter      | Shows or hides the newsletter signup form.                 |
| **Section padding**  |                                                            |
| Top side             | Space above the section.                                   |
| Bottom side          | Space below the section.                                   |
