# Slideshow
Displays a slideshow with image slides, headings, text, and optional buttons.
## How to access
1. **Go to** Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes.
2. **Click** Customize on your active theme.
3. Click **Add section** and choose **Slideshow**.
## Section Settings
| Setting | Description |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Layout** | |
| Expand to full width | Extends the section to the full browser width. |
| Slide height | Sets the height of the slideshow. Choose from Small, Medium, or Large. |
| **Carousel settings** | |
| Transition effect | Sets how slides transition. Choose from Slide or Fade. |
| Loop | Continuously repeats the slideshow. |
| Change slides every | Automatically changes slides after the selected number of seconds. Set to 0 to disable autoplay. |
| Pagination | Sets the carousel navigation. Choose from Dots, Arrows, or None. |
| Pagination style | Sets the pagination style. Choose from Classic or Modern. |
| **Section divider** | |
| Shapes | Adds a decorative divider to the section. Choose from Curve top, Curve bottom, Curve both, None, Border top, Border bottom, or Both border. |
## Blocks
Add blocks to this section in the theme editor. Each block is a separate item you can add, remove, and reorder.
### Slide
Displays an individual slide in the slideshow.

| Desktop image | Selects the image displayed on desktop devices. |
| Mobile image | Selects the image displayed on mobile devices. |
| **Content** | |
| Color scheme | Sets the background and text colors. |
| Heading | Sets the main heading text. |
| Heading size | Sets the size of the heading. Choose from Small, Medium, or Large. |
| Subheading | Adds text above the heading. |
| Text position | Shows the text above or below the heading. |
| Description | Adds supporting text to the slide. |
| Desktop content alignment | Aligns the slide content on desktop. Choose from Left, Center, or Right. |
| Mobile content alignment | Aligns the slide content on mobile. Choose from Left, Center, or Right. |
| Desktop content position | Sets the position of the content on desktop. Choose from Top left, Top center, Top right, Middle left, Middle center, Middle right, Bottom left, Bottom center, or Bottom right. |
| Text background opacity | Controls the background opacity behind the content. |
| **Button** | |
| Button label | Sets the button text. Leave blank to hide the button. |
| Link | Selects the page or URL the button links to. |
| Open this link in a new window | Opens the linked page in a new browser tab. |
| Button style | Sets the button style. Choose from Primary, Secondary, Primary outline, Secondary outline, or Link. |
